Dr. Reggies Wenyika serves as the eleventh president of Rochester Christian University, a role he assumed in June 2025 and was formally inaugurated into that October. He brings three decades of leadership in Christian higher education, including the presidency of Ottawa University Kansas and, before that, Southwestern Christian University in Bethany, Oklahoma. He holds a Doctor of Education from Oral Roberts University along with degrees from the University of Zimbabwe and Southwestern Christian University, and has completed executive leadership programs at Oxford and Rice. Beyond the office, he is a published poet and an abstract expressionist painter, work that reflects the same attention to the interior life he brings to campus. He leads Rochester Christian with the conviction that a university shapes not only what students know but who they become.
